I’m feeling incredibly inspired today by the progress we’ve made in small-scale farming. When I first started over 25 years ago, sharing information was slow and often cumbersome.

It meant reading countless books, visiting other farmers in person, or attending farming conferences (which, of course, wasn’t a bad thing!). But today, technology has forever transformed our movement—and for the better.

Today, I’m excited to share a new chapter for Heirloom: our platform is now powered by AI, starting with a new chatbot designed to serve you better. But let’s be clear: this isn’t about fancy buzzwords or overhyped promises. Just like the best farming tools, this is technology with a purpose.
