Finding and Filtering Your Notes

As you build your farm’s digital notebook, you’ll need a fast way to find what you’re looking for. This tutorial will show you how to use Heirloom’s powerful search and filtering tools to instantly retrieve any note, saving you valuable time when you need the information most.

Finding Your Notes

You have two main tools to locate your notes: the quick Search Bar and the more powerful Filters panel.

• Search Bar: For a fast lookup, simply type a keyword in the search bar at the top of the note list. Heirloom will instantly show you all notes containing that word.
• Advanced Filters Panel: For more precise queries, click the “Filters” button. This opens a panel that lets you combine multiple criteria to find exactly what you need. You can filter by:
  • Status: Instantly see only your Own notes (shared with team by default), Private notes (not shared with others), Pinned, or notes you’ve Archived. This is perfect for managing your active notes or reviewing old records.
  • Linked Items: Show all notes associated with a specific Planting, Crop, or Block.
  • Tags: Display all notes marked with one or more of your custom tags, like Pests or Diseases.

By combining these, you can run incredibly specific searches in just a few clicks. It’s the fastest way to access your farm’s organized knowledge.
