Linking a Note to a Planting, Crop, or Block

This is where the real power of the Notes module comes to life. This tutorial will show you how to link your notes directly to items in your farm plan. By connecting an observation to a specific Planting, Crop, or Block, you turn a simple note into a powerful piece of data that provides context for all your future planning.

How to link items to a note

1. While creating or editing any note, look for the Link farm items to note section at the bottom

   

2. Click to search and select the specific item you’re writing about.

   

For example, you can link a note about potato beetles directly to your “Potato #1” Planting and to its location in “Block 7A” on your Farm Map. Next year, when you review that block or plan your zucchini successions, that observation will be right there, reminding you of the disease pressure in that spot. It’s about building a history that helps you farm smarter.
