Heirloom’s task assignment feature empowers you to delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring everyone knows exactly what needs to be done and when. This tutorial will walk you through the process of assigning tasks to your collaborators in Heirloom, promoting a more collaborative and productive farm environment.
Viewing and Assigning Tasks
To assign tasks, start by navigating to the task list view within your Heirloom farm. This view provides a comprehensive overview of all upcoming tasks, organized by date and type.
- Find the task you want to assign in the list.
- Click on the task to open its detailed view. This will display additional information about the task, including its due date, associated crop, and any notes.
- In the task details, you’ll find an “Assign to” section. Click on the dropdown menu and select the collaborator you want to assign the task to.

Filtering Tasks That Are Assigned To Me
Heirloom also provides a handy filtering option to help you quickly view tasks that are assigned to you specifically.
- In the task list view, click the “Filters” button. This will open a menu with various filtering options.
- Choose the “Assigned to Me” filter to display only the tasks that are currently assigned to you. This allows you to focus on your own responsibilities and track your progress efficiently.

Note: the Task List view will keep your active filters in memory so if you come back and don’t find specific tasks you’re looking for, it may be because you have active filters on! Click on the ‘X’ button next to the Filters will remove all filters being applied.
