Managing Collaborators

Heirloom provides the flexibility to manage your collaborators effectively, ensuring everyone has the appropriate level of access and permissions to contribute to your farm’s success. This tutorial will guide you through the process of managing collaborators within Heirloom, from changing their roles to removing them from your farm.

Viewing Collaborators

In the "Team" section, you'll see a list of all the collaborators who have been invited to your farm.

In the “Team” section, you’ll see a list of all the collaborators who have been invited to your farm. Each collaborator’s entry will display their name, email address, role, and status. The status indicates whether they have accepted the invitation (“Active”) or not (“Invited”).

Changing a Collaborator’s Role

To change a collaborator’s role, follow these steps:

  • Find the collaborator whose role you want to change in the list.
  • Click the three dots to the right of the collaborator’s name. This will open a dropdown menu with various options.

  • Choose “Change Role” from the dropdown menu. A pop-up window will appear, displaying the available roles.
  • Select the new role you want to assign to the collaborator from the list of options.

  • Confirm Change: Click the “Change Role” button in the pop-up window to confirm the change. The collaborator’s role will be updated immediately.

 

Removing a Collaborator

If you need to remove a collaborator from your farm, repeat the steps above to display the dropdown menu next to the collaborator’s name and click on “Remove”. A pop-up window will ask to confirm you want to remove your collaborator’s access to your farm.

Other considerations regarding collaborators

  • Only the farm owner can change the roles of other collaborators or remove them from the farm.
  • If a collaborator didn’t receive the invitation email, you can re-send the invitation link using the contextual dropdown menu next to the collaborator’s name.
